Our Hepatobiliary Surgeons
Our hepatobiliary surgeons provide general surgical and complex hepatobiliary surgical input, liaising with specialist gastroenterologist and oncologists in a multidisciplinary setting. Our hepatobiliary surgeons have responsibilities towards the statewide Liver Transplant Unit and are accredited specialist liver transplant surgeons. They are all accredited with the ANZHPBA and have public appointments at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. They have responsibilities in surgical trainee and university medical school teaching an are involved in ongoing clinical research.

Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy
- Complex interventional endoscopy including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic duodenal stenting for palliation of gastric outlet obstruction
Conditions involving the pancreas, liver, and gallbladder:
- Laparoscopic & Open Liver Surgery
- Laparoscopic & Open Pancreatic Surgery
- Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy / Gallbladder and Biliary Surgery, specialising in comprehensive management of gallstones.
General Surgery:
- Laparoscopic hernia repair
- Laparoscopic and open splenectomy
- All forms of Emergency General Surgery including trauma, appendicectomy and laparotomy
- Venous access for infusions + vascular access for chemotherapy (infusaports)
